September 14 - Monday


Honey’s birthday. I went to Mercy’s house and wished Honey a hb. He always was and always will be a darling!

September 15 - Tuesday

Had to go to Guy Cooper’s house to type script for Macapagal interview. Went home at 2:15 AM!!


September 16 - Wednesday

Malacanang this morning for filming of Macapagal with crew and staff of PAI. I saw Cliff who was breakfasting there with bankers and the president. Met Secretary Hechanova and the president, of course! We have to return tomorrow. Merche gossiped to me that Joe’s love in his life is Pearly Arcache - Well!!

September 17 - Thursday

Continued filming the interview of President today. It was very exciting. Not many get to see the inner workings of the Palace and it was very thrilling.


September 18 - Friday

Cliff called to confirm tomorrow’s date. Ate in Mercy’s house. Honey and George were there. Everyone was in a good mood. Went out with Italian officers with Mercy, Betsy and Pinka.


September 19 - Saturday

Cocktails and dinner with Cliff. Sulo later. Party at Barredo’s house for Jigger.


September 20 - Sunday

Got invited for a date by Italian officer but could not go. Went to Mass with Mercy this morning. Saw Noel at Mass. Typed all afternoon and evening at Cooper’s house. ( the Cooper I refer to here was my boss at the time - Guy Cooper)  I am bushed!


September 21 - Monday

Typed again all morning at Cooper’s house. (Oh where were computers and word processors then?! I remember typing the long script for the documentary we were filiming for President Macapagal's visit to the US, and advertising scenes. I never was so tired.) Haven’t see Joey and Jose Mari in a week! Strangely enough I miss Joe. Am not feeling too well.



September 22 - Tuesday

Called Conchita to wish her a happy birthday. Also called Joe about polo pictures. Monica called me and Mercy had supper with me at home. Gave material to dressmakers for two dresses. Was called by MTG to do prompting for next play.



September 23 - Wednesday

Dinner with Cliff this evening. Werner and Marianne’s anniversary. Joe left the polo pictures at home. Missed him this noon. Nice evening with Cliff. Met Danny and Ising Vasquez at dinner.



September 24 - Thursday

Mercy’s birthday. Had dinner at her house.



September 25 - Friday

Went to dentist to have molar pulled this noon. Skipped office this afternoon. Feel awful!



September 26 - Saturday

Went to beauty parlor and stayed home. Later went to the movies with Mom and Mercy - we saw “The Pink Panther.” It was a riot. Peter Sellers made me laugh so much I cried. We had a snack at Tasa de Oro.
